first up, flykkiller have posted a couple of new tracks on their myspace hang out.
one remix, the step and walk, is by the duke spirit, and gives hope that the debut album wasn’t a one off fluke, as the band are obviously on a roll with their take on deliciously noir tinged electro-rock, and the other, is by some mystery artist giving the ambience a twisted pounding techno groove.
i have checked, and it’s not my mother, so we’re all safe.
however, as these slabs of dark electro are currently strapped into the dirty myspace player, here’s a little exclusive remix of the album highlight, fear.
for this version, miss kubelik has swept away the cobwebs, and given the vocals a widescreen space pop makeover, making the track a little less likely to induce nightmares.
