well i never.

the return of the mighty dust science label.

having been pumping out consistently wonderful material under the black dog guise for the last few years for soma records, the various members of the collective have now teamed up with some old muckas from the psychick warriors of gaia, and returned to their own label in order to release this limited 12″, (supposedly the first in a series of three).

having been worn down by the lust for beats, the gang decided enough was enough and have crafted 2 long beatless pieces of electronic noise to calm the inner voices.

of the two drawn out isolationist drones on offer, strung valve checkout is the one i enjoy the most. primarily due to the melodic overtones by the inclusion of piano notes which are embedded within deep industrial ambience, thereby providing a primary aural focus upon which you can then home in on, and let the depth engulf and ensnare.

while the flip, dada fish sticks, doesn’t provide melodious treats to the same level, the combination of rich sweeping mood enhancing synths, and off kilter, disorientating sonic layers cannot help but lull the listener into a state of willing submission.

according to the details provided, there are to be 300 records pressed.

so, you have been suitably advised.
