following on from my (very) recent ‘discovery’ of fine art recordings, i have been digging around the labels various podcasts/myspace hangouts, and come to think i have stumbled upon the ultimate pot of techno gold.
while i prematurely labelled the music as minimal, it’s quite clear that the label, and the artists involved, are actually far more varied and interesting with takes on all manner of techno.
detroit, deep house, electro, and other flavours that mean little to me, are clearly in evidence.
so, with this in mind, for a limited time only, i am rather chuffed to be able to pass on a cracking acid heavy remix of onark’s latest 12", circuit breaker.
while the original is perfectly delicious (available to hear via the mans myspace corner of course), trulz and robin (myspace) have taken the source and strapped on a floor killer of an acid line that morphs and grows out of the beat perfectly, to eventually make for an amazing seven and half minutes of sonic chaos.
hugeness abounds.
subsequently, i would recommend you sign up to the labels mailing list and/or subscribe to the promo blog as i would like to think that things are going to become even more interesting.
