you may have noticed that so far the blog has not really been behind too many albums in 2008 making me think that this year is a bad’un, whereas the reality is that the current scene is actually incredibly healthy and full of music that would normally be making me very happy.
today i have realised why the blog has been somewhat negative of late.
basically, ireallylovemusic aint getting any promo copies of albums of the good stuff.
so, tis time to put out plea out there so that once again the love can flow.
i suspect i need to hear the following albums :
midnight juggernauts – dystopia
the presets – apocalypso
cut copy – in ghost colours
ever since i picked up the black ghosts mixtape, i’ve got a craving for more of that weird twisted nu-rave styled electro-pop.
so if someone could have a word with the right people then that would be rather lovely.
i mean, damn, i may have to actually buy these albums.
