just as i beginning to think i’ve had enough hard hitting electro dirt, along comes a couple of records that kickstart the passion again.
first up was the aforementioned idc track, bolshy beats, and now this.
released via those fine people at french based citizen records (look carefully at the logo on the recent micronauts album and you’ll understand why i’m watching this label), bruno gauthier, aka lady b has been a long player on the acid house scene, so knows how to craft a dancefloor smash.
this is pure hard hitting beat heavy machine noise, with a chanted vocal line not too removed from old school industrial faves, nitzer ebb, but oodles of dirty funk in its underbelly make this particularly good when played loud.
