ireallylovemusic vs devo.

Devoliveatthepalace[1]

i was in a trade in shop in leeds in the early 90s and this kid had a devo album.

shop people were not interested, and refused to take it.

i waited and followed kid out of the shop.

on the pavement outside of the shop, the deal was done.

a devo album that was never released in the uk subsequently became my all time fave live album.
the opening acoustic section before the machines are switched on, and the declaration from the band as to just how hated
they are, enamoured me to their cause all the more.

it really is a fantastic way to experience the devo world.

oh, and all these years later, this is still by far my favourite live album.
