according to a recent twitter chat, it turns out that i am one of a handful of people who have heard the rather wonderful keyboard choir album that was released a few years back (review : here)
having said that i am ashamed to admit that since the release of the album, i have not really been keeping up to date with their adventures, but if this remix is anything to go by, i would like to think such an oversight is a thing of the past.
subtle delicate electronic overdubs (with an emphasis on the use of the term dub) are fused beautifully with a happy-but-sad hug your friends pop tune.
no idea as to the details of chad valley, but a quick myspace dive (very strange being directed to that deadzone in 2011), seems to indicate that there is hope for a rather fine pop album at some point made by a bloke called hugo, who has purloined the name of a now-defunct toy manufacturer.
may we live in interesting times.
