todays playlist may indicate a moodswing of the most peculiar kind has occurred at ireallylovemusic hq :
– hypobeat live : the woodentops
– giant : the woodentops
– wooden cops on the highway : the woodentops
– pop said : the darling buds
– crawdaddy : the darling buds
– erotica : the darling buds
– lovely : the primitives
– the first of too many : the senseless things
no-one is more surprised about this turn of events than i am.
i never thought when i woke up this morning that i would have such a timewarp session, but after weeks of od'ing on blue note bebop, this rush of fuzzed up guitars, tamborine enriched beats, and dreamstate vocals (ie. the core components of the darling buds material) has been absolutely brilliant, and very very much needed.
for tomorrows session i have got the following lined up : emf, jesus jones, pwei and possibly other such delights. who knows what diamonds in the rough will be excavated.
stay tuned for the next exciting installment.
