i think i made it quite clear back upon its release, i loved war stories, the last album by the unkle collective.
something about the mix of fuzz rock, machine enhanced beats, and night time moods just hit the spot.
so, i'm pleased to report that despite the waves of indifference these days to james lavelles ongoing project, in may there is to be a new album released, where did the night fall, featuring all manner of the usual suspects (markl lanegan, joel cadbury, and autolux).
anyway to get you in the mood, there is a free download of one of the tracks, natural selection, featuring the black angels (thereby underlining the current love for fuzzed to the max rock-n-roll).
