but on one wet-n-wild windy sunday night back in ’94 in an enchanting leeds underground basement bar, they provided a select audience with a set of hugely pleasurable tummy rumbles and plenty of smiles, and hearing this again recently made me long for a time when such way with a melody, sample and a dubby bassline were once again in favour.
with a vocal style that recalls the seedier elements of uk dub heavy dance (hello renegade soundwave), here is a rather fine drawn out remix that mutates from a slab of skanking pop excellence, to epic future sound of london styled ambience.
