dDAMAGE-Tbass Mix Series #7 by Tigerbeat6
i may not have heard numbers 1 to 6 in this series, having avoided the whole mashed up/electro mixtape thing for a long time, but when this dropped in the inbox while writing up that last rant, i thought i’d give this one a quick dip, and i am rather glad i did.
the opening mess of ddamaged electro noise and lifted beastie boys vocals is truly marvelous.
must be my mood, but when the guitar overload of ministry hit, my head just melted and went, ‘ooooh yes’.
old school industrial guitars + electro + excess of naughty words + cut up hip hop vocals = blood surge.
quite simply, this mix is like an aural version of the crank movie in that the pace never lets up for 37 minutes 42 seconds.
recommended.
