pop stars are dying, and festivals coming to an end, but thankfully the world continues to turn.
so to get the week up and running, here’s a fine fine song by one of my all time favourite bands, that petrol emotion.
lifted from the bands debut peel session that was recorded back in 11th june ’85, can’t stop was subsequently given a wide screen production number by hugh jones for the debut album, manic pop thrill, but here it is in stripped back, just about live in the studio version.
oh, and in case you hadn’t picked up on the fact, the band are playing a few rare shows in the uk this week.
