not sure if you recall, but the ds:93 label was set up as a special sub-label of the mighty dust science collective, through which they print 93 copies of a 12".
the tracks are never to be featured on any future releases, not available via any download stores etc etc. each 12" is numbered and housed in a unique sleeve.
purity of the art is all.
so far there have been 2 excellent 12" singles released by mark archer, and vector lovers.
(search the ireallylovemusic archives for ds93 and all becomes clear)
anyway, i am now in a position to pass on word regarding the third release in the series.
this time, it’s alex soma stepping up to the challenge.
details are as follows :
flume slurp ep – ds:93 004
4 tracks : eccie brekkie heart, rudiments, muckle dance, sloom.
released 23rd feb 09.
[note : keen watchers of catalogue numbers will have noticed this is the fourth release in the series – well the third has yet to be mastered but is indeed on its way.]
most copies have already been sold to the folks on the subscribers list, but there are a few left for non-members.
website streams of the tracks prove that if you sleep you weep.
