as has been well advertised, jamie hewlett and his gorillaz sidekick, damon albarn have stepped up and helped out the bbc with the images/promo for the forthcoming olympics.
the animation is now online, and despite the fact i am a self confessed jamie hewlett fan, i have to say, this is just wonderful.
beautifully executed, with some nice typical touches of humour.
oh, and xl records are to release the full length album that’s associated with the monkey opera, made under the guidance of damon, later this summer.
