to be honest, when this dropped in the pile, i just thought it was going to be yet another exercise in amy winehouse styled 60s soul singer revival, so ignored it, and to a degree ava is indeed just that.
however, instead of the music being all about 60s soul, she has decided to tap into the superb 70s reggae groove, meaning i’m loving this a lot more than i ever expected.
also, last night i noticed two new tv adverts that had reggae soundtracks means that we are due for a full on reggae revival, giving this girl a real chance of pop stardom.
anyways, this is a lovely happy sunshine reggae pop track, lets just hope the album contains more.

just checked the all necessary myspace hangout, and lo, it appears the girl really has gone all in for the skanking lovers rock mood.
