yes, the blog went quiet last week.
basically, once a year, the company i work for have a big get together, do 2 days of american styled self congratulating ("if you could all please stand up", pause for dramatic effect, "and now give yourselves a big round of applause"), and then get very drunk.
me included.
subsequently, yours truly had a fair old chunk of recovery time to take in, not to mention the burying of the memories of the night club that we all ended up in.
so, what interesting news dropped into the ireallylovemusic pile during this period of excess ?
firstly i was advised of my old ape infatuated animator, jamie hewletts latest groove given that gorillaz is on the back burner for the foreseeable future. it appears that the ford car company have realised that his anarchic style is a perfect tease for their demographics, and so have launched a new range of cars, and a website with jamie providing the artwork.
so, if your desktop is a little dreary today, and you fancy something sparkly, then head on over to the relevant hi-tech corner as there are all sorts of work alleviating bits-n-bobs for your pleasure.
