monday morning ..
decided to get into non-hiphop sounds for a few days ..
news re moshi moshi :
– hot chip ep couple of tracks of lp, and several newies .. techno-pop, with beta band vocals. tis growing on me. the four tet remix is good. due 27/9.
– matt harding – new ep. more simple lo-fi with a dubbed up beatbox loveliness – released 11/10 according to the info.
other stuff ..
– king of woolworths – damn thing skips lots on my work machine – so cant get to feel the calm.
– soundhog – ‘curdler’ – former bootleg mixmaster goes all electroclashpunkrock .. new on cosair records – damn fine track.
– homelife – guru man hubcap lady – abstract pop music, leftfield instrumentation, obscure harmonies. can only be ninjatune. a definite grower.
onwards !
