to be honest i’ve not yet heard the ep, but there are a few remixes (madvillian, dabrye and even kelis) doing the rounds with all manner of dark and crunchy digital hip hop in the groove, of which i reckon the mr oizo remix is a rather fine spooked up example of how to make instrumental hip hop in 2007 more interesting.
