released a few months ago, but still getting airplay @ ireallylovemusic hq i thought it was time to spread the love a little further. especially give the fact that this week there is a new loving hands remix of the latest maps single, to the sky that comes highly recommended.
this stretched out remix by tim goldsworthy takes the easy on the ear, but subtly twisted electro pop of the source, and creates a classic dfa styled slice of acid house dance floor brilliance.
created from the usual elements of throbbing synths, a bouncing bassline, and plenty of disco rhythm that builds and builds into an all out spine moving monster, the remix proves that the dfa and their various associates still have plenty of those old-but-new tricks up their sleeve. to wipe out any so called competition in the world of nu–rave-punk-disco.
basically, this is a perfect way to kill 10 minutes.
