if a hard and fast purer than pure, (sonically speaking!) garage band are getting the dirty electro makeover then you know there is a change in the air.
the horrors released a cracking album earlier in the year that i still play loud when the family are out of the house (don’t want scare the young’uns just yet !), and so now they are set to release she is the new thing across a mad variety of limited formats, with a rather dark and unpleasant hand drawn video.
the band just get better and better.
no pretence at being anything other than a complete one off in the current climate of radio friendly indie rock, their brand of late night, perfectly coiffured dirt is a wonderfully refreshing blast of bad tempered noise.
