well, earlier in the week i mentioned this french duos (george issakidis and christophe monier) mix page, and now a few days later i’m posting a track from their rather intense 2000 bleep to bleep release.
the album/mini-lp is 44 minutes of full on banging machine noise interspersed with all manner of extreme production tricks. at times the album disappears up its proverbial hole of indulgence, but when things hit the spot, then this easily matches the warp records glory era for bleep and beats based music.
i have cleared out a chunk of the old mp3s to make room for this 10 minute electronic epic, once you get past the 4 minute mark you’ll understand why i did. the inventive loops, the old school bleeps and the orchestral sample that just make me want this on constant spin.
