news just in – the scaramanga six

hell.o
for anyone who has followed the rambling misspelled outpourings of this place, you may recall my unrequited love for the band that no-one else cares for from my old postcode leeds 6. well, the very exciting news is that the band in question are to release a new album in 2007, and i can’t bloody wait.
oh yes, the glorious the scaramanga six are back with their fourth album, the dance of death, following on from the gore splattered brilliance of the bands last album, cabin fever.
the new album is due out march 12 (that’s march the twelfth 2007 people), so let’s grab steven morricone from the band to tell us more about it.

this behemoth of evil pop bastardry will be hitting the shops in the uk from the 12th of march 2007 – details of frantic touring action and press/radio news to follow, but in the mean time, you can pre-order your swanky copy complete with glorious 16-page booklet, lush and intricate artwork and special 3d-effect front cover and of course, 10 tracks of the most mind-flaying rock melodrama this side of uranus. we can now reveal the tracklist:

1. the throning room

2. baggage

3. the collector

4. vesuvius

5. sunken eyes

6. i wear my heart on my sleeve

7. helvetica

8. lifeblood running dry

9. i see red

10. the towering inferno

#### the first 30 pre-orders will also receive a very special cdr compilation featuring a wealth of music that shaped the scaramanga six into the hideous, foul and nefarious beast it is now. if you want to hear what made the six tick, then get your pre-order in noooooooowwwwww! ####

you can pre-order only at the wrath website – £10 (plus p+p) is the price you will pay for the privilege.

more detail : here

now, i have heard 2 of these tracks (actually maybe three, or is it four .. ) and they are fucking fantastic.

so i should warn you, if the new album is anything up to the levels of  cabin fever, then it really could do my playlist some damage.

here’s hoping.

stay tuned
