in possibly my final posting for a few days i decided to spread the joy of free music.
now i can’t vouch for the quality on offer, but hey, beggars and all that choosing malarkey.
first up, electro experimentalists roc have come up with a cunning plan to release tracks via their myspace hangout.
the 12 tracks will comprise remixes, unreleased gubbins, alternate versions etc. which all sounds like spring cleaning has come early.
however that is not all. as is the roc way, the band are playing games with the downloaders, apparently behind the track names will be a message in some kind of brain melting da vinci code cracking thing, and thus means that my (hopefully) wine addled state over the new year will make any attempts at all this completely pointless at ireallylovemusic hq.
now, i aint a big fan of myspace and suchlike, but if you are hanging out online over the next few weeks, then this could be a fine way to confirm that new adsl upgrade that you have splashed out on.
and in case you forgot, the band released a great album in 2006, night fold around me which really should be on your want-lists.
