for a friday afternoon, here are a few things to keep you ticking over.
first up, go home productions have released 3 more mp3s to get you in the mood for the return of the man with the big red sack.
oh yes indeed.
for those not aware, ghp consists of a man called mark who has obviously access to far too many records for his own good. having been responsible for some of the most high profile bootleg/mashups that aren’t by danger mouse, for example – madonna plus sex pistols, thats him, the doors plus blondie, thats him, david bowie and, umm, david bowie, thats him aswell.
as you can see, mark has obviously friends in high places, as these releases have been sanctioned by the powers that be, and so chuffed with the results that the big daddy emi are to release a full and proper ghp album in the new year. of course i will post more details as and when they come through.
in the meantime, before the chaos kicks off, mark has posted a few final naughty mashups oh his site, with a slight crimbo edge to them. naturally after a few years of this stuff, the shock factor has well passed, but mark still has the knack of making some superb and inspired choices.
