justice : london live 2025

it is not often i get excited re seeing a live band these days, but getting the chance to see french bloghouse legends, justice, live, was an opportunity that could not be missed.
and so, thanks to the generosity of mk1, we headed off to the ally pally on a cold grey winters evening with high hopes and expectations.

all of which were surpassed.

somehow in 2025 watching 2 well coiffured blokes messing about with some machines on stage has became the most intenstive audio visual experience.
yes, the music was big both in dynamics and tunes, but this was also down to the science fiction aspect of their unique, made-to-order lighting rig that provided the visual support.

for 90+ minutes the music that was being created was a dj styled mixtape mashup of the bands hits, album deep cuts, and random samples fighting for attention against the ever evolving, living lighting rig that moved and created new lifeforms according to the demands of the music.

the interaction between man and machine was both intense, spectacular and utterly compelling.

i fear that 2025 may have peaked a little too early.
