tonight i dropped the groove and did the headphone test on the forthcoming sparklehorse album, dreamt for light years in the belly of a mountain, as mentioned previously.
proving that a more suitable listening environment makes all the difference sometimes, late night and headphones basically, as this time around i fell under its beguiling spell.
no idea which tracks are danger mouse enhanced, thus proving that this fact has little bearing on the final results.
it is as stated, a quiet listen, but with some wonderful sonic twists and turns, i am especially loving the delicate bleeps on the 10 minute album closer title track which has more in common with klfs chill out epic rather than anything americana related.
with that in mind, tis time for some kip, sleep tight.
