on a random whim last year (as is often the case i was prompted by the excellent sleeve art) i picked up the o children debut, and its associated remix album.
loved the doom-n-gloom aspect of their highly polished goth pop and the deep baritone vocals.
i realise it’s a cliché to use the term goth in regards to this lot, but hey, no point in being in denial.
so, this morning was chuffed to hear that the band are back.
here is an excellent primer for the release of their second album proper, apnea, which is also followed by a brief tour of the uk, and only the uk, for which there is quite a story.
what an ordeal the lead singer, tobi o’kandi has been through, click the link to find out more.
