well, the reason is simple : from hereon, you need to pick’em up sharpish.

you see, now that i have refound my groove, i’m scouring various hard drives that are within the vicinity of ireallylovemusic hq, and finding all manner of long forgotten hidden digital treasures.
so, rather than just letting the dust pile up, i reckon it’s time to let some of the beauties out into the wild open.
no stories (after all, you really don’t want to read about : “well, it was a thursday afternoon when i downloaded this file, and liked it” type of crap), just fun stuff to help pass the day.
today’s treat is a remix i had totally missed out on.
loving hands being a pseudo for tim goldsworthy (dfa, unkle, mo’wax etc) wherein he takes a track, straps a throbbing synth line under its beat, and lets the mutha ride for 9 minutes.
his loving hands remix for the maps single, to the sky, was a big favourite of mine in ’07, so rather chuffed to have unearthed this extra treat.
