dj food vs ztt records

strictly kev and i both have a common passion for the golden era of the mighty ztt records.

it must be something to do with our similar age, and the emergence of the labels love for playing with the whole art of record making during our formative years that hit the spot, but for yours truly life would never the same again once trevor horn and his studio boffins plugged in that fairlight cmi and started to release the results for all the world to hear.

so, when i received word and a few visual sneaky peaks of this instance of fanboy overload a few months ago, my heart raced.

having kept schtum, i am pleased to report kev has done the honourable thing and dropped a full posting of the eventful day on his own site.

highly recommended reading for anyone who queued up for the 3rd remix 12″ single by frankie goes to hollywood, or collected the old cassingles that the label loved to fill with exclusive versions.

will there ever be a label as much fun and pocket money demanding as ztt records ?

i very much doubt it.

enjoy.
