as i’ve mentioned before, the age of chance catalogue (well, the emi owned section), is to be released digitally.
i posted the press release over on the archive site for all to see, but today i was pointed to the amazon listings.
and indeed, it seems to be the whole bloody lot.
mecca era remixes as well !
now, i realise to many the mecca album was a let down after the sample-rants-n-noise overload that was 1000 years of trouble, but i would suggest giving mecca another listen.
in 2009 there have been several bands/artists revisiting 80s production values, and blow me down, i think mecca sounds spookily relevant.
and as for the remixes, well amongst the pretty average extended workouts, there are some real gems, and even the odd unreleased special extra.
