i recall there being a lot of love for the wild beasts when they released their debut a couple of years ago, and when they appeared at standon calling last year word got around as to the how good their ethereal indie pop turned out to be, so suspect a few people are going to be interested in this.
the band are about to release their second album, two dancers, however, first they are first releasing hooting and howling as a single.
naturally there are a few blog friendly remixes doing the rounds, of which this one by leo zero will probably get the most interest given that he is heavily associated with the nu-balaeric/cosmic disco movement and is getting a lot of love for his multitude of re-edits.
so, while the original isn’t really my kind of thing, i have to say, this euphoric feel good dance floor filler version is absolutely gorgeous.
