i was given a heads up to this yesterday, but wasn’t in the mood due to the need to have some face melting rock-n-roll pumping around ireallylovemusic hq.
however, today is a different day, and this morning i received an album that’s all over the ambient dub groove (details on the way), meaning this brilliant mix clicked into place.
taking a chunk of stuff by the orb, and the klf, the hour long mash of found vocal samples (a necessity for anything like this), flows and grows in stature, making me feel all fuzzy and warm while the bass lines make my aching back shuffle about.
absolutely perfect for a stressful day in front of a computer.
