as i said a few weeks ago, i have always had a soft spot for william orbit’s wobbly synthetic dance pop.
those bubbly synths, rolling warm basslines, and smiley grooves rarely fail to work their magic on me.
of course the man has been involved with just about everyone , often with varying results, but for todays treat, it’s the one time i found myself really enjoying a record by punked up party girl, (well i think that’s how she wants us to think of her), p!nk.
weirdly the tags on this seem to indicate that beck was involved as well, all the more believable as the vocals throughout this hands in the air sunrise dance epic is anything but p!nks.
all you need to know is that when the sun shines solidly for the next 4 weeks, this rare remix will make perfect sense.
oh, and the other snippet of good news, it seems that william is about to get the go ahead and release a new album.
fingers crossed its up there in the dance pop orbit (sorry) like the bassomatic stuff.
we can but hope.
