easy allstars, pama international & ed rome : bristol : 24/10

i think it’s safe to say that reggae has been a major part of the ireallylovemusic listening experience of late.

subsequently, when i was reminded of this show that’s happening in my vicinity tomorrow i realised i didn’t want to miss out.

to start off the proceedings rockers revolt dubbed up poet raconteur, ed rome, drops his studio one styled rhythms and social observations, followed by pama international,  who make their second return to the city following their barnstorming set at the bierkeller a few months ago. a gig that just so happens to have been a highlight of 2008 for yours truly, as seeing 300+ people go crazy to the bands old school traditional ska’d up soul music was totally unexpected and a much needed revitalising experience.

headlining the show is chart busting act easy allstars who have taken two critically revered rock albums (radiohead ok computer and pink floyds dark side of the moon) and turned them into hugely popular dub-reggae classics.

so, if you have the chance and fancy some dubbed up fun, you now have all the necessary details should you be in the bristol area.
