jeremy allen : journalist, musician, akira the don mixtape cover star, and friend of ireallylovemusic, has after quite a period of talking the talk has set up a new band, son of king rebel, seeing as his previous band, the impossible to write without a spell checker, piranha deathray are no more.
anyway, the band are after months of practicing, and fine tuning their songs, playing a gig. in london.
of course, being based in the english outback, means i wont be able to attend.
however, that doesn’t mean you should miss out.
so here are the all important details from the man himself :
"my new band son of king rebel plays club fandango next week at the dublin castle, the date 23rd september, the time 10pm. it’s going to be great, he said, with kasabian-like hubris. the other bands i’m told are wicked. they are called grace emilys, cut cut shape + the last army.
you can download a flyer from the club fandango website which will get you in for a pound cheaper. google it.
anyway, hope to see you. if you’re wondering what it’s all about, i’ve included an mp3 which you can listen to.
enjoy. oh yeah, keep going til the end – that’s the best bit."
