the skys are grey, and summer officially over, the time feels right to rediscover one of the country’s best labels in recent times. combining a love of underground electronica, darkside grooves, leftfield pop, and funked up punk (or was it punked up funk, i get confused), trevor jacksons ever fascinating output recordings provided anyone who happened to enjoy collecting limited vinyl releases a reason to immerse themselves in the labels catalogue and
in the aftermath of the labels passing, fan/collector/obsessive strictly kev of dj food fame, decided to sort out a massive 3 cd mix that provided an overview as to the labels excellence. a few copies were printed up with superb attention to artwork detail, meaning that this homemade project is still one of my all time favourite mixes/compilations.
now that the dust has well and truly settled, i have decided to spread this labour of love that little bit further, obviously starting with the first part of the trilogy.
