twenty twenty vision - 7 track demo

delicate songs sung in a sweet melodic fashion.

the backing is relatively straightforward, a simple beatbox, guitars are plucked gently and a little bass, keyboard.

it's the return of c86. ask your parents. if either of them has any mighty lemon drops/shop assistants/weather prophets then they too will have fond memories of a lost era in pop music history. it wasn't cool, but it was what we had prior to acid house/hip-hop ..

the jangle, the declaration of lost love against chiming guitars. the non threatening vocals. the calmness in the subtle beats.

if creation was still a label then i'm sure alan mcgee would be checking out this. and smiling fondly.

the songs are very impressive, and catchy. despite the limited range of sonic pallete this actually means the listener has to focus on the songs - a rare treat for many these days, as most released product is concerned with distracting the listener while the money is exchanged at the counter.

whether in this harsh world where noise and style reign supreme, i wonder if this type of talent can finds its deserved audience.

i hope so.
