matt d used to be part of acid jazz's band 'mother earth'. dont know much about them other than an jazz-rock ep which paul weller appeared on - which isn't too impressive. but this is very different. pastoral folk guitar music. mellow sunday afternoon lp. with heartfelt lyrics. a warm rosy glow of an lp. no indication at this stage that matt would end up as part of oasis ! a lost classic if ever there was one. his second lp was completely lost in the break up of the record company (focus).
