all of the above have nothing to do with punk-funk, no connection with nu-britpop, fuck all with a dance floor, but yet each of these singles is wonderful, old school indie rock par excellence. where the guitars are full on, chunky, layered, and in yer face, matched by melodies and passion that soar and rock the hi-fi system in all the right ways. all of which basically proves that underneath the world of nme sponsored indiedom, there are people out there still putting in some serious effort to release some rather fine records.
