name unfamiliar ? check credits on new kingdom releases,stereo mc's,bill laswell hip-hop stuff, gravediggaz etc etc scott(y) hard(ing) has produced some fine deep bass based hip-hop over the years. this is his first solo release. part of the wordsound catalogue. fits in nicely with their deeper than the underground stance.
the music is slow,grinding grooves with bass/guitar instrumentation, and excellent loops. a variety of rappers tell a story which i've yet to figure out but the overall impression of this disc is 'wow'. not for the faint bass-shy hearted.
