outcast - out of tune
this would probably be tagged as trip-hop. but i find it in a very different vein. there are no samples of movies/john barry sounds or anything. it’s a very electronically based sound - the main perp of the soundscapes is beaumont hannant famous for ambient/electronic music, but this still has a hip-hop vibe. two tracks veer away from the sublime nature of the rest of the album with a hard ragga style vocal, whereas the rest is laced with sublime female volcals. program the cd to skip the hardcore tracks and just chill to this gorgeous release
