herbaliser - blow your headphones
this is my first venture into the world of ninja. i have always been wary of their catalogue as i'm worried that i'll find it too jazz/jungle orientated. well rest assured this is straight up hip-hop and is stunning. 70 mins of superb downtempo instrumental/vocal hip-hop (whisper the name trip-hop). cant recommend this high enough, the highlight is a one minute section which has a scratch/sample of shirley bassey - drop dead good stuff. and yes there are elements of jazz but its kept to a 'niice' level.
