both these are defining techno lp's. both requires the listeners attention and time. on first listen I was not impressed at all, but something kept making me listen again - until I was hooked. no way to describe - except to say bleeps and strange melodies never sounded so good. personally I would go for spanners over bytes - if any one is interested ! just because spanners flows together so well
