well this post is really an excuse to post the cover art.<\/p>\n
as all the rest of the pictures that have gone alongside goldfrapps<\/strong> latest chart topping album, seventh tree<\/font>, it’s absolutely gorgeous.<\/p>\n i’ve not heard the album so cant say as to how this track works in the context of the full length, however, as a 3 minute snapshot, its a lot more upbeat than i expected having read the reviews which all mentioned how downtempo the bands new mood is. caravan girl<\/font> is in fact a nod towards the epic orchestral happy vibes of the polyphonic spree<\/strong> with the build up to an almighty life affirming crescendo and all those layered vocal harmonies. in other words a brilliant pop song.<\/p>\n to make matters even more interesting, the band are touring.<\/p>\n just one problem – its all sold out.<\/p>\n oh well, if you’re going to one of the big festivals (glastonbury, lovebox), then you have a chance as they are due to turn up and do their thing for the the sun-loving (hopefully !) masses.<\/p>\n in the meantime, when this hits the radio a-list (which it undoubtedly will), then iots going to make a lot people very happy.<\/p>\n
