no matter how hard i try and resist the dreadfulness that is myspace, it seems that bands are still intent on using it to spread their word across the wired world.<\/p>\n
rarely do i pop over there voluntarily, but this week, two links have proven to be worthy.<\/p>\n
first up, the box sets.<\/strong><\/p>\n a large collection of musicians based in western Massachusetts have finished putting together their debut album, amor backwards<\/u>, and asked if yours truly was interested.<\/p>\n from the samples on offer via their myspace, the answer was a resounding ‘yes!’. <\/p>\n a little slice of slightly experimental, but listenable hip hop that gives reference points to buck 65<\/strong> before he decided to become a nu-world version of tom waites, <\/strong>teamed up with some fem vox that hold together the passion and blues felt intensity.<\/p>\n bling free, interesting musical backing, this could be the beginning of something rather special, and may even make me dig out my old galliano<\/strong> records.<\/p>\n more detail<\/u> : here<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
