what a mess of an album – 18 tracks : 25 minutes.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
a young duo who seemed to have found love with the brash combination of cheesey synths, fast-n-furious tacky drum machines and fuzzed up guitars.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
makes the go! team<\/STRONG> sound like pink floyd <\/STRONG>in regards to the production values.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
first few listens brought back memories of some dayglo 7″ on moshi moshi<\/EM> by best fwends, <\/STRONG>so i guess it should have come as no surprise when a little digging revealed a connection between the 2 set ups.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
while the album never hangs about there are many reasons as to why i found myself laughing along.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
admittedly i’m not so sure that’s the expected response, but when the chorus of its the mutha fuggin deathset <\/EM>is ripped into in a hormonal school yard hyper fashion rage during the bleep-tastic intermission<\/EM>, then its hard to take this vice magazine <\/EM>shit seriously.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
amazingly this blast of lo-fi chaos has found its way onto the release schedule via those good people over @ counter records.<\/EM><\/FONT><\/DIV>
so that means you can all go out and experience the joy.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
