{"id":692,"date":"2007-09-06T22:10:06","date_gmt":"2007-09-06T21:10:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ireallylovemusic.co.uk\/blog\/?p=692"},"modified":"2007-09-06T22:10:06","modified_gmt":"2007-09-06T21:10:06","slug":"the-return-of-the-hip-hop-groove-to-ireallylovemusic-hq-featuring-kid-acne-necro-shape-of-broad-minds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ireallylovemusic.co.uk\/blog\/?p=692","title":{"rendered":"the return of the hip hop groove to ireallylovemusic hq (featuring kid acne, necro, shape of broad minds)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>       <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">well having spent the most of the year 2007 not  listening to any hip hop (i kept trying but it just didn&#8217;t feel right .. ) all  of a sudden things seem to have picked up.<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">and the reason ?<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">well basically, i&#8217;m going to throw the blame up to  that bloke up in sheffield again. <\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">oh yes, it&#8217;s the return of <STRONG>kid  acne<\/STRONG>&nbsp; which is, of course, to be celebrated.<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">his last album, <EM>council pop <\/EM>totally did it  for me back in the dark ages, and the new set<EM>, romance ain&#8217;t dead,  <\/EM>(coming out via <EM>lex\/emi<\/EM> of all places!),&nbsp;<EM>&nbsp;<\/EM>looks  to be on track to surpass that particular highlight.<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">the beats have once again been crafted with a lot  of input from <STRONG>req one, <\/STRONG>a perfect case of, <EM>if aint broke  &#8230;.<\/EM><\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">proper review later on once i digest it a little  more, but so far the best hip hop album of 2007.<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">not only that, but <EM>lex records <\/EM>have also  released a nice 4 track ep, <EM>blue experience ep,<\/EM> by the mysteriously  named, <STRONG>shape of broad minds. <\/STRONG><\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">which is basically well respected instrumental hip  hop producer <STRONG>jneiro jarel<\/STRONG> with a bunch of loose moods and guest  appearances.&nbsp;the result is <\/FONT><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">a wonderful 4  tracker that consists of psychedelic grooves, spaced out production, and a lot  of <STRONG>mf doom <\/STRONG>styled madness, if you remember and like old mo&#8217;wax  hero, <STRONG>divine styler <\/STRONG>then this ep is definitely for you.&nbsp;  <\/FONT><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">there is a full&nbsp;album out now with lovely  artwork of course,&nbsp;and i saw the <EM>hip hop connection <\/EM>special cover,  but missed out, something i know i will regret.<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">so, that&#8217;s&nbsp;two hip hop&nbsp;records in one  day. <\/FONT><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">so, while i&#8217;m on the move, have  decided&nbsp;to try that <STRONG>necro<\/STRONG> album, <EM>death  rap.&nbsp;<\/EM><\/FONT><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">suspect that&#8217;s going to push me  back, but hey.<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><EM>more detail<\/EM> : <A href=\"http:\/\/www.lexrecords.com\">lex records<\/A> &#8211; &#8211; <A href=\"http:\/\/www.necrohiphop.com\">necro<\/A><\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><EM><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><\/FONT><\/EM>&nbsp;<\/DIV><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>well having spent the most of the year 2007 not listening to any hip hop (i kept trying but it just didn&#8217;t feel right .. ) all of a sudden things seem to have picked up. and the reason ?
