2 years ago australian based record label\/party people, modular,<\/EM> released a 2 cd set that collated all manner of cool indie records that had a haircut electro’d up backbone. <\/FONT><\/DIV>
now in 2007 they have sorted out the sequel, originally named leave them all behind 2.<\/EM><\/FONT><\/DIV>
naturally, there are a lot of the usual, but great, suspects spread over the tracklisting involving a fair chunk of folks from the other cool indie-dance crossover setups, and plenty of modulars <\/EM>own people involved, but when the results are as dynamic and wonderful as the mstrkrft<\/STRONG> remix of wolfmother<\/STRONG> then you won’t hear any complaining from me. <\/FONT><\/DIV>
this compilation sounds great when rocking the mobile music player, and if you’re not feeling one particular groove, then it’s not too long before the mood changes. <\/FONT><\/DIV>
so if the blistering digital excess of justice <\/STRONG>wears you down, hang on as its not long before the superb electro-sheen of cut copy is brought in to soothe the nerves, prior to the chucklesome\/nighmare drug induced scenario that is laid out by ali love <\/STRONG>in all its punk-pop glory.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
cd 1 is all mixed up but in a fairly straightforward beatmatching manner, and cd2 is a clean individual track collection, some of which are on the mix cd, and some are not.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
jam packed with tracks that will probably sound dated in a few years, but until then, this is a great way to catch up on whats making beautiful young people dance and sweat.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
