mothboy, 65daysofstatic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>       <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><\/FONT>&nbsp;<\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">hell.o.<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">due to concerns over the  <STRONG><EM>ireallylovemusic<\/EM><\/STRONG> bandwidth allowance (something i  never ever expected for a text only website that only a couple of years ago was  archived on a single floppy disc) i am going to point you, dear reader, to some  external mp3s to pass away a few minutes with.<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><\/FONT>&nbsp;<\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">first up &#8211; <STRONG>mothboy. <\/STRONG>the man known  as <STRONG>mothboy<\/STRONG>, simon, has been making unusual machine noises for a  while now, (including remixes for <STRONG>akira the don)<\/STRONG>&nbsp;as well  as writing stuff for playlouder. his debut album was a dark intense listen that  impressed but didn&#8217;t want to become my friend. however, the new album  <EM>deviance, <\/EM>from the examples on offer, seems to indicate a change in  direction. <\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">slightly. <\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">the beats are still as dark as a sisters of mercy  tshirt, and the production claustrophobic, but with a more accessible edge than  previous sonic experiments.<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><\/FONT>&nbsp;<\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">2 tracks on offer : <\/FONT><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><A href=\"http:\/\/www.adnoiseam.net\/label\/catalog\/69\/sounds\/mothboy-outside.mp3\">outside  <\/A>:&nbsp; <\/FONT><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><A href=\"http:\/\/www.adnoiseam.net\/label\/catalog\/69\/sounds\/mothboy-selfish_plan.mp3\">selfish  plan<\/A><\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><\/FONT>&nbsp;<\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><EM>more detail<\/EM> : <A href=\"http:\/\/www.adnoiseam.net\/label\/catalog\/69\/enter.htm\">here<\/A><\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><\/FONT><\/STRONG>&nbsp;<\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">secondly, a post rock band called  <STRONG>65daysofstatic<\/STRONG>. who have actually worked with  <STRONG>mothboy<\/STRONG>. <\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">if you ever listen to epic post rock and think,  <EM>damn, i wish they would add a few electronic elements to the wall of  sound<\/EM>, or you listen to electronic music and think <EM>damn i wish the band  would add some guitar noise<\/EM>, then the well 65daysofstatic could be the  answer to your prayers. juddering laptop beats, and grinding guitar laters  collide with sometimes dramatic results.<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">not sure about the band glueing together all those  words to make the name of the band however.<\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><\/FONT>&nbsp;<\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">2 tracks on offer : <A href=\"http:\/\/www.fanaticpromotion.com\/mp3s\/65daysofstatic\/65daysofstatic-welcometothetimes.mp3\">welcome  to the times <\/A>: <A href=\"http:\/\/www.fanaticpromotion.com\/mp3s\/65daysofstatic\/65daysofstatic-drovethroughghoststogethere.mp3\">drove  through ghosts to get there<\/A><\/FONT><\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><\/FONT>&nbsp;<\/DIV> <DIV><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><EM>more detail : <\/EM><A href=\"http:\/\/www.65daysofstatic.com\/\">here<\/A><\/FONT><\/DIV><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
