following on from that last post about 70s rock-n-roll. i decided to get back into the new world. <\/FONT><\/DIV>
so here’s another nice exclusive.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
i have in my hands the forthcoming sarah nixey<\/STRONG> album – sing, memory<\/EM><\/FONT><\/DIV>
the cover is very red, with the declaration ‘through the glitter and the grandeur, there’s life in the cabaret’ <\/EM>positioned above the title of the album.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
a good sign – you can never have to much pretension in pop i think.<\/FONT><\/DIV>

and reading the small print i think that the last track is a cover of an early human league<\/STRONG> track.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
having spun the album now a few times today, i can say this is exactly what i was wanting.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
if you liked the spiked electro drama of the singles then side 1 (the first half) of the album will not dissapoint, whereas if you prefer relaxed mellow electro-moods, then the second half is going to be your ideal destination. <\/FONT><\/DIV>
yes – this is a conceptual pop album with ideas beyond the norm, anyone would think paul morley (ztt records) was somehow involved.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
oh, hang on….<\/FONT><\/DIV>
